How Hunch works
Everything in the order you meet it: printing a ticket, what the numbers mean, where prices come from, how markets settle and how you get paid.
Hunch in one minute
Hunch turns a sentence like I think SOL will be above $110 on Oct 13 with $100 into a position on a live market for exactly that question. You pay with one USDC transaction on Solana and hold the shares in your own wallet.
You risk the stake
No margin, no liquidations. The stake is the most you can lose.
Real market prices
Prices come from traders on each market. Hunch never takes the other side.
Paid in USDC
Every winning share pays $1 to your wallet.
Your first ticket
The wizard builds the sentence one word at a time. The top of every screen shows it so far; tap any filled word to go back.
- 1Coin. Scroll, drag or type a name. Spot prices are live.
- 2Up or down. Up pays if it ends up higher, down if lower. Press 1 or 2.
- 3Date. Roll through the dates with open markets. Flags mark period markets that pay on a touch.
- 4Price level. Roll through the listed levels. Each shows its share price and chance. Quick picks jump to a safer bet, a coin flip or a long shot.
- 5Amount. From $5 to $1,000. You see exactly what you get back if you're right.
- 6Print and pay. The ticket prints with a Solana Pay QR. Scan it with your phone or press Pay with wallet.
Keyboard: Enter continues, Esc goes back, arrow keys move any wheel or timeline.

1Title
Coin, direction, price level and date. ETH above $2,500 · Oct 14 pays if ETH is above $2,500 at noon ET on October 14.
2Cost
Your stake. You pay it once in USDC and it's the most you can lose.
3Shares
Stake divided by the share price. Each share pays $1 if you're right.
4Share price
What one share cost. On a live ticket this is your average fill price.
5Chance
The share price read as a probability: $0.42 means the market puts it at about 42%.
6Pays if right
Shares times $1. This is exactly what lands in your wallet if you call it.
7Closes in
Time left until the market's outcome is fixed.
8QR
A Solana Pay link. Scan it with your wallet to approve the order in USDC.
Shares and payouts
Every market is a yes-or-no question about one price on one date. A share pays $1 if your side is right and nothing if it isn't, so there are only two outcomes and you know both before you pay.
| Share price | Chance | $100 buys | If right | If wrong |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $0.80 | 80% | 125 shares | $125 | $0 |
| $0.50 | 50% | 200 shares | $200 | $0 |
| $0.25 | 25% | 400 shares | $400 | $0 |
| $0.10 | 10% | 1000 shares | $1,000 | $0 |
Cheap shares are long shots: a $0.10 share pays 10x but the market thinks it happens one time in ten.
Where prices come from
Hunch doesn't make prices. Every price level on every date is its own live market with its own traders, and you buy at the price they're trading at when you approve. A share's price is the market's collective read of the chance.

Every level, live:
How markets settle
Daily markets
“BTC above $84,000 on Oct 14”. Looks at one moment: the Binance 1-minute candle that closes at 12:00 ET on the date. Above the level is yes; anything else is no.
Period markets
“SOL hits $140 by Oct 31”. Pays if the price trades at the level on any Binance 1-minute candle before the period ends, even briefly.
Each ticket shows which kind it is. Results are final once the market closes and its source is read.
From print to payout
- 1
Print
Your sentence is matched to its live market and printed with a reference like HN-1014-40WJR.
- 2
Approve
Your wallet asks for one USDC transaction. Your order goes in at the live share price.
- 3
Fill
Your shares fill and land in your wallet. The ticket shows what they're worth as the price moves.
- 4
Close
At the market's close the outcome is fixed from its settlement source.
- 5
Payout
Winning shares pay $1 each in USDC. Claim from the ticket, or it's paid automatically within 24 hours.
A printed ticket isn't an order yet, so you can share it before paying. If its market closes before it's paid, the ticket is marked closed and you print a fresh one.
Paying and what you sign
Scan the QR
A Solana Pay transaction request. Phantom, Solflare and other Solana Pay wallets fetch your order and show it for approval.
Pay with wallet
Connect a browser wallet and sign. Hunch sends it and watches it fill.
You sign one transaction that spends exactly your stake in USDC on shares of your market. The shares sit in a position owned by your wallet. Hunch never holds your funds or your keys and never asks for token approvals. You need the stake in USDC plus a little SOL for the network fee.
Limits and availability
| Stake | $5 to $1,000 per ticket |
| Coins | BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, HYPE, BNB, DOGE |
| Dates | Whatever is listed: daily markets for the coming days, plus period markets for the week, month and year |
| Payout | $1 per winning share, in USDC |
| Fees | A small trading fee taken by the market at the fill. Hunch adds none. |
| Availability | Anyone can browse and share tickets. Orders aren't available from the United States or South Korea. |
Risks
- You can lose the whole stake. If your side is wrong, your shares pay nothing. The chance shown is the market's view, not a promise.
- Prices move. The share price can change between printing and approving. You fill at the live price when you approve.
- One price source per market. Daily markets look at a single minute on Binance. A sharp move at that minute decides the result.
- Third-party markets. Your shares live on an external market and settlement system. Hunch can't reverse or override a result.
- Not advice, not everywhere. Hunch is software, not financial advice. Don't use it where it's restricted for you.
